Teenage mothers are further subjected difficult life and un able to care for their children, They lack resources, impact hugely on their social well being..
CVS-Tanzania works in the countries with the highest child marriage and teenage pregnancy rates. Adolescent girls are vulnerable, and the cost of not protecting them is high. Child marriage often prevents girls from continuing their education and realizing their full potential. Our goal is to empower young women and girls by unlocking their potential through education, life-skills, and livelihood opportunities. This enables them to fight unwanted social pressure and build healthier future for themselves.
