Ethics and Health Care Improvement Program (EHI-Program)

Ethics and Health Care Improvement Program (EHI-Program)

This is a sub program in which CVS-Tanzania works very closely with the Local Government Authorities in enhancing local health facilities day to day functioning by reducing mortality rates caused by poor professional ethics such as laziness and negligence of service providers while attending patients.

The program mainly involves international health professionals such as medical doctors, nurses and midwifery professionals from universities and health institutions and other related disciplines. They can be directly involved in local health facilities particularly in child and mother sections in the respective Districts by working with local workers to provide professional advice through observation and assessing whether health ethics while providing health services to the patients are followed and whether the related health facilities have all the necessary health equipments. After observation and assessment in collaboration with the CVS-Tanzania Team they shall be required to write a report and share with the respective Local health facility Team for improvement discussions.

This program may take 8 weeks as per proposed specific projects/tasks below but can be less depending on the professional volunteers’ choice/schedules.
