Nursing and Midwives Students Volunteers -Program (N&MSV-Program )
It’s a sub-program which is implemented and initiated with CVS-Tanzania provides Professional Nursing and Midwives and Volunteers opportunities to do their professional volunteers training and learning practicum, we engage the professionals and volunteers students on maternal and Child health care professional care and treatment volunteer work in Tanga region, Tanzania.
The Nurses and Midwifery Volunteers students will be stationed in various rural health facilities in Tanga region, Tanzania, to organize in the health facilities management, health services delivery information, and in the local government health facilities and ministry of health and social welfare staff. Nursing and Midwifery students or professionals will focus on the following themes:
- Family planning and contraceptives
- Ante natal and post Natal care
- Midwifery/Child health assessment
- Clinical services
- Immunization /Vaccination programs
- Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights information for youth
We have Qualified, experienced team of professionals to over supervisory over sighting to the international students volunteers during their outreach work, develop report and submit to the relevant volunteers learning institution, we are working with school local health institutions as well.
